With all those roses in bloom, I thought you could use some great ideas on how you can use them. Roses are very powerful flowers, providing anti-aging qualities to skin products to heart healing energetics when added to food.

Rose Water makes an excellent face toner and is a snap to make. Just gather some rose petals (that have not been sprayed with any nasty pesticides). Rinse them off and let them set to dry and allow any bugs to move on.

rose petals (2) Once they are bug free, place the petals into a large pot. Place a chunk of brick in the center to allow a smaller heat safe bowl inside. cover with fresh spring water.

This is your Rose Water. I like to place some ice on the top of my lid to help build more condensation..rose water lid

Another great way to utilize those roses is to create a Rose Toner using Witch Hazel, Just simply pack a jar with fresh clean rose petals and pour Witch Hazel over the top. Let set for 2 weeks shaking each day.
